Terms of Service

Last updated: July 2026. These Terms of Service govern your use of Flinterra's platform, website, and services.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Flinterra's platform, website, or services ("Services"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use our Services. These Terms constitute a binding agreement between you ("Institution", "User", or "Partner") and Flinterra Private Limited ("Flinterra", "we", "us").

2. Description of Services

Flinterra provides an AI governance, integration, and orchestration platform for educational institutions. Our Services include AI policy implementation, tool compliance certification, phygital product empowerment, goal-based learning environments, and stakeholder reporting. Specific features depend on your subscribed tier (Free, Standard, Premium, or Enterprise).

3. User Accounts & Registration

Institutions must register for an account to access our Services. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update such information as needed. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

4. Subscription Tiers & Payment

Flinterra offers Free, Standard (₹150/student/month), Premium (₹250/student/month), and Enterprise (₹350/student/month) tiers. Free tier users are not charged. Paid tiers are billed on a per-student-per-month (PSPM) basis. Payment terms, billing cycles, and renewal conditions are specified in the order confirmation. Late payments may result in service suspension.

5. Institutional Responsibilities

As an institutional user, you agree to:

  • Obtain all necessary consents from students, parents, and staff for data processing through Flinterra
  • Use the platform in compliance with applicable laws, including DPDP Act 2023 and NEP 2020
  • Not use the platform for any unlawful purpose or in violation of your institution's own AI policy
  • Ensure that teachers and staff using the platform are appropriately trained

6. Data Privacy & Security

Flinterra processes data in accordance with our Privacy Policy and the DPDP Act 2023. We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect data. Flinterra's zero-knowledge architecture ensures that raw student activity data is never accessed by us. Data is stored exclusively on Indian cloud servers.

7. Intellectual Property

Flinterra's platform, including its software, algorithms, AI models, documentation, and branding, is the intellectual property of Flinterra Private Limited. Institutions retain ownership of their data and policy documents generated through our platform. Nothing in these Terms grants you any right to use Flinterra's trademarks or branding without prior written consent.

8. Third-Party Tools & Services

Flinterra's platform may provide access to third-party AI tools and services through our Certified Tools Directory. Flinterra vets these tools for compliance but does not endorse or guarantee their performance. Institutions enter into separate terms with third-party providers. Flinterra is not liable for issues arising from third-party tools.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Flinterra's liability for any claim arising from these Terms or the use of our Services is limited to the amount paid by you in the 12 months preceding the claim. Flinterra is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of data, revenue, or goodwill.

10. Termination

Either party may terminate the agreement with 30 days' written notice. Flinterra may terminate or suspend access immediately for breach of these Terms or applicable law. Upon termination, your access to the platform will cease, and your data will be exported or deleted per your instructions within 30 days.

11. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved through arbitration in Surat, Gujarat, in accordance with the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996. The decision of the arbitrator shall be final and binding.

12. Changes to Terms

Flinterra reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email and through the platform. Continued use of the Services after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
